Sales Director

Search Laboratory is a market leader in Global Digital Marketing, helping clients like Visit Britain, Revolve Clothing and Hitachi to grow their international client base and revenue through SEO, SEM, Social Media and Programmatic Display in over 25 languages. Founded in the UK in 2005, the company has experienced strong growth and now employs around 150 people globally. Our first global office was opened in New York in 2014, and the US business has grown quickly since then through the acquisition of key clients across the Retail and Tech sectors.

Reporting to our Global Sales Director / SVP Global Sales in the UK, the Sales Director will be responsible for driving sales in the US. We want to accelerate our growth in the US market and are looking for a high calibre sales professional to take our business to the next level, building on the strong foundation we’ve built over the past 2 years.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Deliver against a target of new business wins and client upsell opportunities
  • Formulate and deliver on individual sales plan
  • Generate on pipeline of sales opportunities through cold and warm outreach, attending conferences and following up inbound leads
  • Support the recruitment, training and motivation of junior sales personnel
  • Coordinate the creation of client solutions and proposals with other departments within the organization
  • Attend group management meetings and contribute to long-term business strategies
  • Report to the Global SVP Sales on sales and pipeline opportunities
  • Ensure the sales function is consistently working in line with our company ethos and principles

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Proven ability and experience in sales
  • Experience of selling digital marketing, ecommerce or translation products, ideally at enterprise level
  • Proven experience of developing and executing successful sales strategies in a high-growth company
  • Proven track record of exceeding personal sales goals
